I'm downloading right now and will be playing very soon. Will report back my findings. Oh yeah, I suckered in and pre-ordered through Steam. Game looks good so hope it was a good decision.

lil laggy here and there.. but it looks pretty good.. Not a fan of snow maps though.. never have been.. I'm tired of seeing snow at home right now.

I tried all night yesterday to even log into a game got connection lost or CTD all the time! Finally I gave up, and played a few rounds of COD: MW2 in anger instead. But today Bad Company worked at the first attempt. Strange! And i got into great game too without any lagg at all.

But I must say it too easy! I played infantry and got 23:6 i kills/ deaths and a headshot pin at the first round I ever played. But it could be that the whole bunch on the opp-side where noobs...LOL.

Is it just me, or did anyone else found the graphics a little blocky and consolish?

I'm not a big snow map fan either but it still looks cool. It's hard to give a good review yet since I've really only played for a couple hours and haven't flown anything but I'll give it a go.

I do like the loadouts for each player class. They have switched things up quite a bit from what I'm used to and it's a pleasant surprise. I didn't play BFBC so this may be familiar to those who did.

NO PRONE = WTF Mate? If there's no cover your profile is a giant bullseye.

Graphics aren't final and highres textures are not included in the beta. With that said, it did feel a bit blocky and lacking but with my settings on medium it looks good and the effects are quite good tbh. Also, the sounds are real good and the weapons feel ok overal. Need more playing time.

Still, there are truck loads of sniper players on each server!

I think every second death I get is from a sniper-SOB!

Got a new favourite weapon by the way.
Play Engineer and Unlock the silenced SCAR-L. It feels great and is awsome at close quarters!
Also, I unlocked the F2000 tonight, and thought it would rule. It didn't!! So, I went back to my sweet, old XM8.

But I am already starting to get tired of this Valdez-map. And I am not very fond of snow maps either. I get tired in my eyes from playing them. Must be all the white colors. Was the same with the "Derailed" snow-map in COD: MW2...

I haven't had a whole lot of playing time, either. I'm currently only lvl 4. So far, I think it'll be worth the cash, and fill the gap until BF3 comes. Once we can actually create a friends list, it'll get a whole lot more fun. Add me when that happens - SinisterSalad.

The no prone thing irks me as well...

Anyone else who got headaches sometimes after playing this game for a while?
Can't play more than 1 hour, then I am tired in my head, ears and eyes. Must be all the noise and motion-blur or some funny Field of View, that I am not used to...

Or maybe I am getting snow-blind...There is snow everywhere, outside of the window and inside, in front of the computer...LOL

But the Rush-mode is pretty good, I think! You always get some good fights around A and B, especially down at the harbour. And always some sneaky bastards hiding among the containers, so his comrades can spawn in on him. Too bad though, you can blow up the objectives by letting the roof collapse over it. A major fail IMO!
